TO ALL ACTIVE NAMBA MEMBERS. A PRIVATE LANDOWNER HAS GIVEN PERMISSION FOR NAMBA TO BUILD A TECHNICAL TRAINING COURSE IN THE BROKENSTRAW VALLEY. DUE TO THE LOCATION AND A LIABILITY CONCERN, IT WILL BE OPEN ONLY TO THOSE WHO HAVE PAID CURRENT DUES.
A SMALL TRAIL BUILDING CREW HAS ALREADY STARTED CONSTRUCTION.

Located on the map as the Northwest corner of the Pa. Wilds.
According to visitpa.com, there are more than 1000 miles of bike trails in the Pa. wilds. Of course, some of this is calculated with forestry roads and rails to trails. This is all great, anyplace to ride is a good thing. However, our focus is on the joy and excitement of the ever growing popularity of SINGLETRACK.
There are already some great places to ride in our area, as you will see when you browse through our site. Our goal at NAMBA is to increase public knowledge of these hike/bike treasures. Increase public knowledge of responsible, conservation minded MOUNTAIN BIKING. Finally, to build new, interesting singletrack for both the growing list of local riders, as well as those who come to the wilds for fun and relaxation.

We have two very important groups to thank, in the area of trail building and maintenance.
The Western NY mountain bike assoc. has built some of the most intense singletrack in the Great Lakes region, with both tourism AND conservation in mind. We are very, very happy to have these folks as our neighbors to the north.
The Allegheny Outdoor Club has been building and maintaining the trails in our backyards for more than 40 years. We can't say enough for the countless hours that they have spent keeping our trails open and safe. We hope that very soon we will be working side by side with these folks to help conserve, protect and enjoy the forests and hills that we call home.
